Appeal for information after commercial burglaries in Hythe and Nursling

We are appealing for witnesses and information after safes were stolen during commercial burglaries in Hythe and Nursling.

The two burglaries took place in the early hours of Wednesday 9 July.

At around 1am, three people entered the Flogas site in Charleston Road, Hythe. Entry was forced to a building and a safe containing cash and keys was stolen.

The offenders made off in what was described as a dark grey Land Rover Discovery.

At around 2.10am that morning, we received a report of a break in at the Costa Coffee Drive Thru at Adanac Park, off Hurst Way, Nursling.

It was reported that a group of five men forced entry to the building and stole a safe containing cash. 

They made off in Land Rover Discovery.

Our enquiries are at an early stage but we are treating the two incidents as linked.

As part of those enquiries, we are appealing for anyone with information on what took place to come forward and speak to us.
